Milestones in nation-building and activities of development partners from around Asia and the Pacific are chronicled. Timor-Leste’s prospects hinge on prudent and effective use of the savings from petroleum production to finance investments in the physical capital, human capital, and institutions needed to develop a sustainable economy.
