Abstract
The present study entitled "Effectiveness of Invention Technique to DevelopWriting Skill" was an attempt to find out the effectiveness of inventiontechnique to develop writing skill andto suggest some pedagogicalimplications based on the findings of the study. To fulfil the objectives, I haveselected Jana Jyoti Higher Secondary School, Sankhuwa Sava by non-randompurposive sampling procedure. After selecting the sampling population,a pre-test was administered. As it was done for improving the existing learnability oflearners, I have taught twenty lessons during my by using different inventiontechniques. To meet the objective of study, I have followed the process ofaction researchi. e. identify the problem, tackle the problem, evaluate andmodify the existing behavior. For that, altogether five tests were administeredand scores were compared with each other. The data were analyzed usingsimple statistical tools like percentage, average score and descriptive approach.The findings of the study show that grade XI students' writing proficiency wasdeveloped through teaching using invention technique for writing in theclassroom.
This thesis has been divided into four main chapters and many sub chapters.The first chapter deals with general background of the study, review of therelated literature, objectives and significance of the study. The second chapterconsists of methodology under which sources of data, sampling procedure,research tools, process of data collection and limitations of the study have beenincluded. Similarly, the third chapter deals with the analysis and interpretationof data. The fourth chapter consists of the findings and recommendations basedon the analysis and interpretation of data.
