Mathematics Achievement in Grade Eight Examination between Parbat & Kaski Districts of Nepal

Abstract
The main aim of this study was to compare mathematics achievement of the
student of Kaski and Parbat districts regarding the Variables gender and
rural-urban areas.
This study was limited in Kaski and Parbat districts. Only 479 students were
selected from eight schools for the sample of this study. The test Score were
collected, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted at 0.05 level of significance.
Based on the analysis and interpretation of the data the findings of this study
were as follows:
1. There is a significant difference between the achievements in mathematics
of students from Kaski and Parbat districts.
2. There is not a significant difference between the achievement in
mathematics of male and female students of grade eight in Kaski
districts.
3. There is a significant difference between the achievement in mathematics
of male and female students of grade eight in Parbat district.
4. There is a significant difference between the achievement in mathematics
of male students of Kaski and Parbat district.
5. There is not a significant difference between the achievement in
mathematics of female students of Kaski and Parbat district.
6. There is not a significant difference between the achievement in
mathematics of the students of rural and urban area of Kaski district.
7. There is not a significant difference between the achievement on
mathematics of the students of rural and urban area of Parbat district.
8. There is a significant difference between the achievements in
mathematics of the student of rural area of Kaski and Parbat districts.
9. There is not a significant difference between the achievements in
mathematics of the students of urban area of Kaski and Parbat districts.
