Abstract
This present study of “Teachers Perception Towards Using English as a Medium of
Instruction in Community School”. The main aim of this research was to find out
whether the use of English as a medium of instruction in community school is judicious
or not. Both the primary and secondary sources of data were used while carrying out this
research. All the data were collected through the questionnaire and interview. For the
Primary sources of data fifty teachers were selected from the community schools by
using purposive sampling procedure. From this study, it has been found that the use of
English as a medium of instruction in community schools is not beneficial. It becomes
the bane for the teachers as well as the students. The use of English does not help the
progress of the students.
This study mainly includes four chapters. The first chapter provides the introduction of
the study. The introduction consists of general background, review of the related
literature, objectives and significance of the study. The second chapter mainly concerns
with the methodology used in this study: the sources of data, sampling procedure, tools of
data collection and limitations of the study. Similarly the third chapter of this study
consists of the analysis and interpretation of the data. The fourth chapter includes the
product of analysis and interpretation of the data, i.e. findings of the study and some
recommendations made on the basis of the findings. Finally the references and the
appendices which are necessary for the validation of the research are also presented.
