TheSōrathǐsong has been analyzed from the feminist perspective. The research explores how theSōrathǐsong isreplete with stereotypical images of women. Hemanti, the main female protagonist, is portrayed as emotional, beautiful, patient and passive. Similarly, other female characters, Kumalni and Sorathi, are also portrayed in the same manner.
