The trans-generational dialogue, which occurs because oftheDNA Test, gets the female characters traumatized inthe novel,whichhelps themtohave subjectivity as the black women in the white dominated British society.Thus, the research concludes thattransgression oftraumais a caustic factorinstigatingidentity crisisamong the women of the color.
