Abstract: Due to the environment's constant change, organizations nowadays face numerous difficulties. At this modern era company's numerous challenges are with keeping their employees happy and satisfied on their workplace. Work life balance is taken as the main determinant of employee retention. According to Hyman & Summers, (2004), The major problems associated with current practices at different organizations over work-life balance are lack of formalization of policies at organizational level. Others include restricted employee voice, no evidence of reduction in working hours, and domestic responsibilities still conducted by women irrespective of their employment status. Work-life balance is about the interaction between paid work and other activities, including unpaid work in families and communities.
