Abstract: The structure of protein has been used to predict the position of thousands of atoms within the protein crystals. Protein crystallization is the process of formation of protein crystals. Proteins are biological macromolecules and function in an aqueous environment, so protein crystallization is predominantly carried out in presence of water. The aim of this study was to produce crystals of protein to study its structure. Subsequent to this, Genetic Algorithm was used to determine the optimal conditions required for the well-ordered crystals of proteins. In this thesis work, three different types of conditions on the basis of alkalinity and acidity were analyzed for, i.e., acidic, neutral and basic. Genetic Algorithm was proved to be equally well with respect to Associative Experimental Design (AED) conducted previously.
