Potentiality of Agro-Tourism: A Case From Kawaswoti Municipality, Nabalpur District

Abstract

Nepal is the most beautiful countries in the world as a compelling destination for tourism attractions in the form of snow capped mountain peaks touring to the sky,given excellent trekking and rafting opportunities, significant religious sites, and unsurpassed historic and cultural places,Natural beautriies,peaceful slope-land setting,.productive plain land with full of agricultural activities making Nepal highly potential for agro-tourism attraction There are lots of potentialities in agro- tourism sites across Nawalparasi as same as the country. Among them Kawasoti municipality is one of highly potential site of agro-tourism attrction, has chosen for survey study. The generalobjectivis to explore the poteentiality of agro tourism attraction in Nepal. where as the specific objectives of the study were to identify potentiality of Agro-tourism attraction, potential agro-tourism activities and to find out agro- production diversity for tourism attration. The exploratory as well as descriptive method of research design is used to draw out the major findings. For completion of this research work,quantitative data and qualitative informations have been collected,using both primary and secondary sources.Secondaryinformatio were collected from legal offices,NGOs/INGos.Though primary data informations have been collected by fieid survey through respondents, key informants and participants using structured questionnaire as well as using direct interview method.For that 169 locals out of 845 households, 24 domestic tourists and 24 foreigner were selected and different computer program.,simple statistics like table,bargraph and pie- charts have been used for data analyze and descritive method has been used for qualitative information.The result of this study is found positive in deed ,that means purposed site is highly potential for Agro-tourism attraction. Nobody could feel uneasy because of real photo-pictures are attested within this thesis. Thank you.
