dc.description.abstract | From social and cultural perspectives, internet is an essential element so that it is often taken in sociological theory to be a paradigm of all cultural and all social organizations.However, one need not look far to find problems associated with social networking sites. On the other hand internet is the major aspect of human relation and family because it is accepted by the society. In the modern age we cannot feel comfort without the use of internet and this research is trying to see the use and response of parents on their children. The main objective of the research is to see the accessibility of internet, its use and parent response. To fulfill this objective the parents or family data and student’s data are collected through the structured questionnaires. This study is based on more quantitative data and data are analysis by using SPSS software.Parents react equally positive on the basis of gender towards their children’s internet craze. Slightly more male children are reacted negatively. Twenty one to twenty two years of age groups give first priority to study. These age groups use internet for study purpose. They think internet is only the tools which find every solution for their difficulties. It can be conclude that in teenage life, younger focuses internet for the study purposes. Business and serviced parents seems to notice that more internet access harm their children rather than other profession parents.In the case of socialization process internet plays the vital role and it is agreed by all kinds of professions from the society, but in the case of housewife 9.6% feels that internet does not help in the socialization process. The families who do not live together feel that internet is the main medium of communication in their family than the family who lives together.The study shows that joint families have higher internet facility in their house whic his followed by nuclear family and then medium sized family. With the completion of this research it is concluded that internet is the major tool that always supports the teenager’s socialization and facilitation process especially in the field of study. 100%students in this research are found to be a internet user so it is concluded that there is the big role of internet behind the teenagers life. In the case of family more than 90%have the internet accessibility that indicates internet is taken as a positive aspect and they believe that internet plays a major role in socialization process. | en_US |
