Abstract: HIV/AIDs is not a permanent disease, it is imported from other nation. People who went to foreign country for different work and when they return back or foreign people who come for visiting in Nepal, at that time there is mainly sexually contact between each other, with this activities HIV/AIDs is imported from other nation. With this activities researcher appoint a Kol VDC of Rukum district, where more than 70 percent of household member are involved in foreign labour migration. In this study for research researcher select a male and their wives one of them as are spondent, whose husband or who had lived in foreign nation less than 1 year or had been living there. In Kol VDC there are 9 wards, among this ward, ward no.1 and ward no. 9 was selected for the whole VDC study. In this ward census method had used for primary data collection by researcher. There were altogether 101 respondents were included where 45 percent male and 56 percent female.The age of the respondents ranged from 18 to 62 years. This study found that around 80 percent people heard about HIV/AIDS and 20% people didn’t heard. Where 98 percent foreign labour migrants and 66.1% their wives,around 35 percent respondents were aware particular major symptoms of HIV/AIDS. Similarly around 55 percent respondents were aware about the major transmission ways and preventive methods of HIV/AIDS. Above 60 percent respondents were known HIV/AIDS can be preventive by using condom and avoid multiple sexual inter courses.Nearly 50 percent people were aware HIV/AIDS can be prevent from use of own skin piercing equipment and take only HIV free blood and no birth from infected spouse.
