dc.description.abstractThis thesis entitled A Comparative Study of Pronoun Between English and Bantawa has been attempted to identify and compare the types of pronouns used in English and Bantawa. It includes the different types of pronoun in both languages. It consists of the pronouns used by Bantawa native speaking speakers in context in both English and Bantawa language. In order to carry out the research the researcher sampled thirty Bantawa native speaker students in both languages through purposive sampling procedure using questionnaire and observation check list as research tool. On the basis of collected data, the comparison between English and Bantawa was done using simple statistical tools such as frequency and percentage. The major findings of the study show that Bantawa native speakers commit error in reflexive pronoun of English language while learning English pronoun and some pronouns of English have one to one correspondence with Bantawa and some have no one to one correspondence. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter contains general background, review of related literature, objectives of the study and significance of the study. The second chapter contains source of data, population of the study, sampling procedure, tools for data collection, process of data collection and limitation of the study. The third chapter includes other analysis and interpretation of data and the fourth chapter contains findings and recommendation of the study. In the final section of the study references and the appendices are included.en_US
