Abstract: This study entitled Attitudes of Humli Lama Learners towards English Language Learning has made an effort to find out the attitudes of Humli Lama learners towards English language learning at secondary level. This research was based on survey design. The population of study was the Lama learners from public secondary schools of Humla district. The total sample of this study consisted of 40 Secondary Level Lama learners who were chosen using purposive non-random sampling procedure. The tool I used was questionnaire. The data collected from the learners were analyzed, interpreted for finding out attitudes of Lama learners towards English Language Learning at secondary level. This study shows that Lam learners want to learn English for various reasons for example to get good job, to communicate with foreigner, study for higher education. In this study, it was found that Lama learners were positive towards learning English but they wanted to change the present education system of Nepal like, curriculum, textbook and evaluation system need to change because the present teaching learning system in Nepal is teacher centered. In addition, the evaluation system only focused on writing and reading rather than listening and speaking. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter deals with the background of study, statement of the problem, research questions, significance of the study, delimitations of the study, operational definition of key terms. The second chapter deals with the review of related literature and conceptual framework. The third chapter deals with method and procedure of the study adopted during the research study, population and sample, sampling procedure, data collection tools, data collection procedures and data analysis and interpretation procedure. The fourth chapter deals with analysis and interpretation of results. The fifth chapter deals with conclusion and recommendations. In the final part of this thesis, references and appendices are included
