The present thesis is entitled Classroom Management Strategies Used by English Language Teachers. The main objective of this study was to explore classroom district.I used survey research design. The required data were collected by using observation checklist and questionnaires. The total sample size was 10 English language teachers of community school,Morang district. I adopted convenience sampling procedure for selecting the sample. The data was qualitative in nature, obtained from observation and open-ended question. From the obtained data I found that classroom management strategies in an English Language Teaching (ELT)context are essential for creating a positive and effective learning environment.Teachers make effective plans for creating a systematic and well-organized classroom, but lack in knowledge and time management techniques effectively.Additionally, many teachers understand students' needs and interests, but lacks in communications skills which make students feel uncomfortable. The results of this research suggest that classroom management is an important aspect of ELT and it should be given more attention. The study also found that many teachers do not apply and practice these strategies effectively. Therefore, it is recommended that all English language teachers should be committed to using these strategies to create a positive and effective learning environment. This thesis consists of five chapters along with references and appendices at the end. The first chapter deals with the introduction part which includes background of the study, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, research questions, significance of the study, limitations of the study and operational definition of the key terms. The second chapter deals with review of related literature and conceptual framework. Chapter three deals with methods and procedures of the study which includes design and method of the study, population, sample and sampling strategies, sources of data, data collection tools and techniques, data collection procedures and data analysis and interpretation procedures. Chapter four includes analysis and interpretation of results. The final chapter encompasses the findings, conclusions and recommendations made after the analysis of the data.en_US
