Abstract: This was survey research related to find the teacher’s attitudes towards ICT in Surkhet district. This is a mixed type of research. The sample of this study consisted of 50 secondary level computer teachers were selected randomly from the 50 secondary schools as public and private. A set of questionnaire Survey from “Likert attitudes scale” was the tools from data collection. The questionnaire consist the 15 statements for the sample teachers. In this questionnaire consists the different aspect of ICT based statements that measures the teacher’s attitudes towards ICT in Surkhet District.The collected data were organized tabulated, analyzed and interpreted by using the statistical tools such as percentage, mean and chi-square test. The x2 –test was employed to find out the teachers attitudes towards ICT. The findings of the study, which were obtained by analyzing the data collected from the teachers, revealed that, teachers used ICT for educational purpose, teachers hold positive attitudes towards the use of ICT. The findings suggest that ICTs use for educational purposes should be given greater consideration than it currently receives. In general, the results were consistent with those previously reported in studies related to the use of ICT in the educational settings.
