Husseini fictionalizes whole history of Afghanistan from the perspective of Mariam and Laila and searches the space of women in different time and space. Both women succeed to create hope and happiness in their family although they are bounded in certain socio economic and political situation of the society. They resist male dominated society by using sexuality and body.en_US
