dc.description.abstractThis research entitled“Useof Drills in Teaching Vocabulary at GradeFour”has been carried out with the aim of finding out the effectiveness ofusing drills for teaching vocabulary at the primary level. The research wasmainly based on the primary sources of data. The sample size of studyconsisted of 40 students studying ingrade fouratShree Tej Binayak SecondarySchool, Gothatar, Kathmandu. As it is an experimental research, the studentswere divided into experimental and control groups. The required data werecollected by usingtest items. It was found that the group which was taught byusing drills achieved better than the group which was taught as usual. This thesis has been divided into four chapters. The first Chapter deals with abrief overview of the vocabulary and drills.Similarly, chapter two presents themethodology of the study, sources of data, sample and sampling procedure,tools for data collection, limitations of the study. Chapter three deals withanalysis and interpretation of collected data andchapter four present findingsand recommendations of the study. This chapter is followed by the referencesand the necessary appendices.en_US
