Abstract: Theresearchentitled“DenunciationofInstitutionalized Violence:ACritical ReadingonRandallJarrell’sWarPoems”explorestheresistanceagainst power politics of State violenceinJarrell’swarpoemsinthelightofNew Historicism.His poemsareimpregnatedwiththeconscienceofcondemnation,revolt andresistancefor theliberationandfreedomofindividualswhoareforcefullypushedintothe battlefieldowingtotheexcessiveadministrativepowerexercisedbymodern technologicalbureaucraticState.Hence,hispoemsfunctiontoawakeconsciousness ofresistanceinthemindofthesoldierswhoarephysicallywoundedand psychologicallyagonizedinordertoresisttheStateviolence.Therefore,Jarrellhas employedpoetryasadynamiclocationforstagingcondemnationagainstthemost oppressivefeaturesofmodernhegemonicState.However,hisresistancecarriesa deeppoliticalvision thatistoachieveliberation,freedomandjusticeforthe victimizedwarriorsorindividuals.
