Abstract: This study is based on primary data, collected from secondary schools ofKirtipur municipality of Kathmandu district. There are two hundred respondentsselected in grade 10 by using census method. Most of the adolescents are still confuse about the transmission andpreventives of STIs, HIV and AIDS by lack of information. So in the growing age,they can become victim of such disease. Therefore, it has become necessary to knowthe level of knowledge on STIs , HIV and AIDS among adolescents students. In thisway, it has become growing concern at present. The selected respondents for thispurpose represent all indigenous. The main objective of this study in conducting in this area is to know the levelof knowledge and attitude towards STIs, HIV and AIDS of the school student’s grade10. Regarding the sexual transmission infection (STIs),the total respondents haveheard about type of STIs and present responds have heard of type of HIV/AIDS.59percent male and 65 percent female heard of type of STIs through syphilis and 81percent male and 83 percent female respondents heard of the HIV/AIDS. Thesymptoms of STIs the highest level said respondents lost of weight and fever for morethen one month. And the prevention of HIV/AIDS the majority of respondents avoidsex with multiple partners, using condom during sexual contact and using sterilizedsyringe. Finally, in this study we can find the positive attitude towards HIV/AIDSinfective person.
