dc.description.abstract | Furydeals with the problems of alienation in postcolonial context imposed by the hegemonic colonial discourse. A person from Eastern Hindu society,Malik Solanka, goes to the West where he gains material access but suffers from alienation because of the cultural displacement. As he moves from one place and culture to another place and culture, the problem of alienation gets intensified in his life and family. After the ruin of his family, he realizes the importance of family and he is apologetic towards his mistake. | en_US |
