This paper analyzes how electricity utilities can support inclusive economic growth while remaining financially viable. It examines socially inclusive electricity tariffs in six countries of South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Tariff diversity was analyzed across Indian states: Assam, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.-
