This paper provides an overview of innovative solutions that can bolster public health responses during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The public and private sector, civil society, and academic institutions have developed many innovative solutions to manage health aspects of the COVID-19 crisis. Innovators have focused on tools for surveillance, supply chain management, clinical trials, diagnosis, communication, and developing vaccines. These have been supplemented by research collaboration platforms, isolation and hospital upgrading novelties, as well as risk stratification resources. The paper presents many of these solutions with the aim of supporting evidence-based health responses and proposes that a “living platform” for sharing public health innovations is developed.-
