dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study was to find out the achievementof the students of Grade seven of Mahottari district in the use of nounsand adjectives. The other purpose was to compare their achievement interms of sex and region. The sample population of the study consisted of 60 students ofGrade seven of Mahottari district. Out of them 15 students from eachschool were selected from Janta Secondary School, SatyanaryanSecondary, Singh Devi Secondary School and Pakali HigherSecondary School on the basis of simple random sampling procedure.A set of test items was prepared to collect the data. The data, thusobtained, was marked and tabulated systematically. Analysis andinterpretation was done on the basis of the tabulated data in accordancewith the set objectives. Finally, some recommendations have beenmade on the basis of the findings derived from the analysis andinterpretation of the data. The overall vocabulary achievement of the grade seven studentsin the use of nouns and adjectives is not found to be satisfactory sincein totality they secured 49.29 percent of the marks which is below 50percent marks. The study is presented in four chapters: Introduction,Methodology, Analysis and Interpretation, and Findings andRecommendations.en_US
