dc.description.abstract | The present researchwork is a critical studyof Abhi Subedi'sYumafrom the feminist perspectives combined with concept of the myth of motherhood. This work basically focuses on Nafeti's trivial condition during her gestation period. She tries to create relationship with her husband, Marohang. Nafeti is not successful either because she cannot acquire his love and support. She fails in her effort to acquire the affection of her husband because she exists as an "other" or the victim of patriarchal society. The ironical contrast in the myth and reality is picturised. | en_US |
