Naipaul'sMagic Seedsdepicts the postcolonial situations. They are problem of location, history, culture and identity. Willie is detached from history, language, and culture which are sources of identity. For his discovery, he goes to India and involves the guerrilla movement where his identity slips one after another. He can not create his history, culture and fix identity because he is dislocated from them. Returning to London, he also realizes that he is failure to discover himself throughout his life because he is homeless, jobless, hopeless, missionless and lack of self-decision power, technical education, family relationship and practical way of life.en_US
