Item IMPACT OF SOCIAL INCLUSION POLICY IN POLITICAL REPRESENTATION IN NEPAL(Doti Multiple Campus, Doti, 2024) BAHADUR BIST, LOKENDRA; Tilak Raj PandayThere are many topics for research in sociology. But here I have tried to study the"Impact of Social Inclusion Policy on Political Representation in Nepal". Politics itself dictates social inclusion. In the context of Nepal, many documents have been made on the question of inclusion. The condition of their implementation and the measurement of their effectiveness is indispensable. Therefore, in this study, what is the impact of the inclusion policy document on political representation? The study is for finding the greatest influencing social inclusion policy in the current situation. In order to find out the facts about the impact of the inclusion policy, researcher has selected the two different political areas one in Dadeldhura other in Kathmandu for comparative study. A quantitative and qualitative mixed study method has been adopted in this study. On-site data collection has been done through quantitative study method, while its detailed analysis has been done through qualitative method. Through analysis, it was found that the differences in the two regions' identification of socially excluded groups highlight the necessity of tackling social inclusion initiatives with context-specific techniques. The analysis found the complexity of the obstacles that socially excluded groups must overcome to obtain political representation and emphasized the necessity of focused actions to remove these obstacles. In terms of political representation, social inclusion policies are not the same in rural and urban areas. Due to the effect of education, awareness level etc. of people in urban areas, the inclusion policy seems to be more effective, while it is less in rural areas. Therefore, inclusion policies need to be made based on needs and the state should be involved in its implementation.
