This study was carried out by using secondary sources as it is a fully descriptive work. I prepared checklists in which the tenses, the aspects, the sentence types, the major word classes and the voices, that were used in the e-news stories, were included and their frequency were also included. To collect the data for the study, I selected five news sites, viz. http://www.ekantipur.com/, http://www.myrepublica.com/, http://www.nepalnews.com/, http://www.peoplesreview.com.np/ and http://www.thehimalayantimes.com/. I took seven e-news stories from each site. My analysis of the data showed that in the 35 e-news stories, non-past tense wasused more frequently than past tense. Similarly, simple aspect got the highest frequency andperfective and progressive aspects were used after it in the decreasing order. In the same way, complex sentences were found to be used most frequently. Compound and simple sentences followed it respectively. Likewise, nouns were used most frequently and verb, adjective and adverb were used in the decreasing order. And, last but not the least, voice was analysed.
