Item Sentiment Analysis of Different E-commerce platform reviews using Machine Learning Algorithm(I.O.E. Pulchowk Campus, 2022-09) Vaidhya, ManilE-commerce provides different products/services to the customer where customers can easily get their desired products anywhere they want. While buying online, they rely on the product reviews made by other users which gives much more emphasis on the product review as it is required for the selection of a product. For the analysis of such reviews, sentiment analysis is done. Since the data are in huge numbers, machine learning algorithms are used for the fast and effective calculation and analysis of these product reviews. These reviews can be done quickly using machine learning as the model is created where thousands of reviews are made. For the better accuracy of the model, the datasets are subjected to different pre-processing techniques. Then, both supervised and unsupervised learning methods as well as the deep learning method to classify the sentiments of the dataset in positive or negative class. For the validation of our model, secondary dataset were obtained from the ecommerce platforms like Daraz. For supervised learning models, we have used Naive Bayes and SVM classifiers. From lexicon based analysis, VADER classifier is used which exhibits 68% accuracy when validating with the secondary data. Also supervised algorithms like SVM classifiers exhibit 71% accuracy whereas Naive-Bayes classifiers exhibit 68% accuracy for the data gathered. But the highest accuracy was obtained from deep learning models which exhibit 75% accuracy.Item Use of World Wide Web for Learning English(Department of English Education, 2015) Phuyal, AnjanaThis research work entitled "Use of World Wide Web for Learning English"has been carried out to find out the extent to which the students of class twelve from four different colleges of Kathmandu Valley use WWW for learning English and to find out the nature and variation use by the students of four colleges. I used both primary and secondary sources of data. In this study twenty students from each college who were using internet and web were selected using non-random judgemental sampling procedure. They were given thirty-five questions for data collection. The secondary sources of data were various books, journals, articles taken from internet and web related topics from different websites related to the study. I analyzed and interpreted data collected through questionnaire using simple statistical tools. The study showsthat majority of students from four colleges use internet and web for learning English language and also use web as an effective learning tool. This thesis consists to four chapters. Chapter one deals with introduction to WWW, growth of WWW, Web organizations Commercialization of theWWW, web and internet, online resources and CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning). It further includes the review of related literature, objectives of the study and significance of the study. Chapter Two deals with the procedures adopted to carry out the research. It contains the information on the sources of data, sampling procedure, tools, process of data collection and limitations of the study. Chapter Three consists of the analysis and interpretation of data collected through questionnaire. Chapter four deals with the major findings of the study on the basis of analysis and interpretation of the data. It also deals with some recommendations made on the basis of findings of the study. Finally, Chapter four is followed by the references and appendices.
