Item Awareness of Early Marriage and Health Problem among Married Adolescent Girls in Samthal Community(Faculty of Health Education, 2017) Bista, Keshav BahadurThe study on the Awareness of Early Marriage and Health Problem among Married Adolescent Girls in Santhal Community of Kumarkhod VDC Jhapa' has been carried out using primary data gathered from the concerned community of Kumarkhod VDC. The study has specially aimed at finding current situation of the Santhal community in different aspects like causes of early marriage, effects of early marriage, problems and measures of early marriage. The primary information for the study was carried out through field survey by the researcher himself. There are 334 households, 100 households were sampled which were selected simple random sampling method. Out of 100 households only 100 respondents were purposively selected for this study. The information collected from the source was analyzed and interpreted in terms of demographic and socio economic characteristics of the total population. The findings are interpreted with the help of different tables and figures. The study revealed that early marriage was found 10 to 12 years 20% were got married, 35% got married between 13-15 years 25% were married between 16-18 and 20% only married after the 18 years. The study showed that 32% early married were illiterate. Agriculture and labour are the main occupation of the community 49% people said that government is responsible to eradicate early marriage, 25% people are assigning society is responsible 11% people said self behaviour and 15% people said parents are responsible to eradicate the early marriage. The overall observation of the study indicated that the early marriage still highly influenced by illiteracy, poverty, religions belief, traditional norms and values.Item Causes of Early Marriage among Girls and it’s Consequences(Department of Sociology, 2017) Khadgi, RomeeNot availableItem Early Marriage and Health Status of Magar Women(Department of Population Education, 2021) Sen, UshaIn this study entitled “Early Marriage and Health Status of Magar Women in Sunchahari Rural Municipality of Rolpa District”. In this research the researcher has interests in the study the Women in different effects of early marriage on women’s health. This descriptive study was carried out for the fulfillment of three objectives such as to analyze the socio demographic characteristics of Magar women, to find out the cause of the early marriage and to identify the effect of early marriage on women’s health status. Information was drawn from 150 out of 638 married Magar women under the age of 20 years by using structured interview. The respondents were selected through simple random sampling method and under which lottery method was used and descriptive analysis and interpretations of the data was done based on quantitative discussion. In this study, 43.33 percent respondents had got married due to their tradition and 23.33 percent women got married due to lack of education. Most of the females of the selected area had gotten married before the age of seventeen. Similarly, the majority of the mothers had been pregnant under the age of 19. About 76 percent respondents were illiterate and only 24 percent were literate. The socioeconomic status of women was also poor. In conclusion, it was found that the main causes of early marriage were tradition, lack of education, poverty, low socio economic status of women etc. To reduce the rate of early marriage, it is necessary to promote their educational and socio-economic status. In addition to this, it is also equally important to give them knowledge about the risk factors of early pregnancy, which tends to bring risk in maternal and child health through different programs. It is necessary to remove their traditional concept towards marriage and pregnancy with the effective and educational programs.Item Early marriage and it's impact on women's health in Dalit community(Department of Health Education, 2016) Lamichhane, MunaThe thesis entitled "Early Marriage and it's Impacts in Women's Health in Dalit community of Tandrang VDC Gorkha District" was conducted among 172 early married Women in Dalit community of Tandrang \/DC. The study of objectives was to analyze or identify of the different socio-demographic characteristics to find out the knowledge and practices of early marriage and effect or impact on women's health due to early marriage. So that data was collected 172 purposively sampled respondents through interview schedule. This study shows that most of respondents were 45.14 percent literate, 47.42 percent involved in agriculture. 36.57 percent were lab0r work. similarly, nearly half 48.57 percent of the women is selected area had got married between 17-19 years. Similarly, majority of the respondents 89.37 percent had their first bearing child before 20 years. This is a prospective study of the associated early marriage and it's impact on women's health among the early marriage women of Dalit community. The major health problems found to low health condition, low literacy, low socio-demographic economic status, lack of health education and health educator persons. Lack of awareness on sexual and reproductive health and early marriage with early pregnancy. Moreover, 64.53 percent early pregnancy women delivery place of birth taking at he.me 22.27 percent at health post. Similarly,44.57 percent early pregnancy women had nor to attended the regular antenatal checkup during their pregnancy, At pregnancy time they are n0t birth regular check up their pregnancy period. The major pregnancy related problems in this region arc poor health condition. Anemia, over bleeding and most of uterine prolapsed along with the outcome of premature or low weight babies. ln conclusion, it can be said that early marriage is prevailing in this community due to many poor socio-demographic- economic status. Lack of information or health, lack of health educations, social belief, traditional 1narriage and love marriage system. So this problem solved. It is necessary to promote their education status it is also equally important lo give them about the early marriage. It leads to teenage pregnancy. In which tends to bring risk in child maternal health through different program. Their women's addition improve that it is also need to remove their traditional concept and shyness towards.
