Item Collective conscience in Ichhuk's Poetry(Department of English, 2010) Paudel, Rudra PrasadKrishna Sen 'Ichhuk' is a great martyre. His poetry "Itihasko Yas Ghadima”, "Bandi ra Chandragiri" and "Shokanjali" are critically discussed in this dissertation., This research makes about the critical Marxist reading of Ichhuk’s poetry. Because of collective sense of we- consciousness applied in his poetry, with Marxist major premises, Ichhuk is identified as a master of collective conscience . Certitude of ‘we’ conscience against the egocentric thought of individual conscience can be noticed in his poem. Political, economic and people’s cultural conscience are the major premises of his writing. In essence, the proper fusion between personal and class conscience produces the social conscience which is termed as the collective conscience. Immorality of dream is defended fervidly. Gradually the female voice of emancipation, communist patriotism and nationalism with strong sense of internationalism and rural consciousness are raised to clarify the Marxist reading in Ichhucks poetry. By Marxist perspective, this dissertation will configure the strong sense of ‘we’conscience subverting the contracted sense of proudly thought. Only to expose the inner reality of ‘we’ conscience this dissertation will prognosticate the brightness of poetry in implementation level but definitely, sharp and sweet fruit of social sense by collective intelligence will remain credible. So in this research, multiple sides of collective conscience are circumstantially cited from profuse genre.
