Abstract: This project analyzesMario Vargas Llosa'sAunt Julia and Scriptwriter, as an autobiographical text that blends of fact and fiction. This novelis fictionalization of those facts which are based on Llosa'sautobiography. By blending the fact and fiction, the novel attempts to recall his past memory which are considered significant forhis autobiography. The story moves around the Mario'sautobiography, Mario gets married with aunt in real life. Throughout the novel his autobiography is brought in the form of fiction. The study aims at establishing the importance of factual evidences while fictionalizing it.Llosa remembers Aunt Juliaand has the conversation about scriptwriter. Llosa has set out from the beginning to play with the contrast between reportingthe facts and telling story, intentionally blends of factand fiction.Llosa blendsfact and fiction in order to discover his own self.Llosa focuses on narrating details of his personal life and he is interested in all pervious accomplishments, and decides to undertake a journey towards self-discovery.
