dc.description.abstractThe importance of corporate governance in an organization has increased public interest in recent years. Nowadays organization should not only focus on profit but it also should emphasize on ethical dealing and incorporate best corporate governance practices. Even though several research has been conducted in this area before, the majority of the studies on corporate governance focuses on describing the business performance and factor. A detailed analysis of the literature shows that empirical research is concentrated on the effect of corporate governance on business performance. However, the connection between corporate governance and aspects of corporate finance like capital structure has not yet been thoroughly investigated.en_US
