Abstract: The title of the present study is Impact of English at the Tourist Spots. This study attempts to find out the impacts of English spoken at the tourist spots of Sauraha to the educational institutions (School Students and Teachers) and people in the community. For this purpose, the researcher visited Bachhauli Secondary School at Sauraha and selected ten teachers including English subject teachers and thirty students of the same school. And he also selected twenty inhabitants of Sauraha in Chitwan district. The researcher prepared questionnaire for the interviews as the tools for data collection. First of all, the researcher visited Bachhauli Secondary School at Sauraha and took interviews with each of the thirty students of class 8, 9 and 10. And then, he took interviews with each of the ten teachers on the basis of prepared questionnaire. He also visited the community and took interviews with the inhabitants (villagers) there. After collecting data, they were analyzed and interpreted descriptively. The findings of the study proved that English spoken at the tourist spots has positive impacts to the educational institutions and people in the community in learning and teaching English. Moreover, it presents some of the useful recommendations on the basis of the findings. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter deals with General Background, review of the Related Literature, Objectives and Significance of the Study. The second chapter deals with the methodology adopted for the study under which the Primary and Secondary Sources of Data, Population of the Study, and Tools for Data Collection, Process of Data Collection and Limitation of the Study are presented. The third chapter deals with the Analysis and Interpretation of Data. Mainly, descriptive approach has been used for this purpose. And the final chapter, the chapter four consists of the Findings and Recommendations. Besides, the supportive materials such as, questionnaire and their responses, etc. are presented in the Appendix section of thesis.
