'Naach,' a form of folk theatre has been subsided and put into the margin in spite of the fact that this very style of performance occupies most of thepercentageof the total theatrical activities in the region. 'Naach',isa source of entertainment for most of the people of this region. It communicates traditional ethnic values to them. However, very few scholars have put this form of theatre at the centerof their studies as it exists in oral form and is the theatre of unlettered people. | en_US |
