Abstract: The present study entitled“Multilinguals’ Use of Language: A case of Vocabulary in Context"aims to find out Multilingual learners’ use of vocabularies in course of their interlanguage transfer. In order to carry out this study,forty multilingual learners were sampled from the Department of English Education,University Campus,T.U., Kirtipur purposively.The main tool of the research was questionnaire. It consisted of different motivational,translational and communicative cumfunctional items. The responses of the students were collected and data we reanalyzed to find out their use of language. The major finding of the study is that multilinguals’ have developed their English interlanguage and they do transfer their other inter languages while using English interlanguage in motivationale translational and communicative purposes. The study is divided into five main chapters.Chapter one deals with introduction. It consists of general background, statement of the problem,rationale of the study, objectives of the study, research questions or hypothesis,significance of the study, delimitations of the study and operational definitions of the key terms.The second chapter deals with the review of related literature,which consists of review of related literature, implications of the review for the study and theoretical/conceptual framework.The third chapter deals with the methods and procedures of the study.It includes, design of the study,population and sample of the study, sampling procedure, data collection tools,data collection procedures, and data analysis and interpretation procedure.Chapter four incorporates results and discussion of the collected data.This chapter consists of two parts: the former deals with the results drawn from the analysis of data and the later deals with the discussion of those results in detail. The last chapter presents the summary, conclusions and implications of the study.Finally, references and appendices have been mentioned in the concluding chapter.
