Abstract: The present study entitled "Teachers’ and Students’ Perceptions on Students' Quality Circle in Developing English Proficiency”, is an attempt of the researcher to study the perception on SQC in developing English proficiency. The researcher used both primary and secondary sources of data. The primary data was elicited from the thirty-five students of grade seven, eight, nine and ten of Sunrise Public Higher Secondary School and Adarsh Vidya Niketan Higher Secondary School, Mahendranagar and five teachers who are involved in SQC. In order to collect relevant data, a set of questionnaire was used. After analyzing and interpreting the data, the researcher found that SQC really helps in developing English proficiency among students. The study consists of four chapters. The first chapter introduces the study in terms of general background, review of related literature, objectives and significance of the study. The second chapter deals with the methodology that includes sources of data, sampling procedure, tools for data collection, process of data collection and the limitations of the study. The third chapter includes the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. The fourth chapter has the findings and recommendations of the study. The final section of the study includes the references and appendices.
