dc.description.abstractThe novel explores the identity formation of Peak and Sun-jo, typical Western and Asian young adults respectively. Both young adults struggle a lot for an identity formation. Their identity is comprised of many things like; geography, culture, religion, ethnic, knowledge and so on. Throughout the whole novel two boys do not let their identity in crisis. They go on developing it and always remain aware of it. They encounter with many obstacles like society, family, institutions which helps lead maturity and identity. All the incidents which takes place from the beginning to the end of the novel are sufficient forshowing the process by their identity formation. The novel is a happy ending of young adults' maturity.en_US
