Abstract: This study entitled “Attitudes of Gurung Students towards English Language” aims to explore the attitudes of Gurung students towards English language and their performance in it. For the study, forty students were selected from Kwholasothar Rural Municipality of Lamjung district through purposive non-random sampling procedure to meet the objective of the study. Questionnaire was designed as a major tool to collect the attitudes of community towards English language. The findings of the research show that almost all the people in the community were found to have positive attitudes towards English language. The performance of the students has been found to be satisfactory.
