Abstract: | The Time of The Hero is a satire on human nature and their way of behavior. It depicts the vices and the follies of the human beings through the presentation of characters like Arana, Alberto, Senora's father and Jaguar; and also focuses on how these vices can be eradicated from the society. The mischievous activities like smoking, drinking, visiting prostitution hall, peeping through the key hole are some of the medium through which the vices of the society are revealed out. This research also suggests that the vices and the follies are so pervasive in the modern society that they have totally engulfed the whole particular nation. Modern sophisticated society harbors the vices and follies of the individuals and it has created the huge problem in the society. |
