Abstract: This is a survey research titled on "Attitude of Mathematics Teachers and Student's towards Letter Grading System in SEE". The prime concern of this study was to explore the attitude of students and teachers of mathematics towards letter grading system in SEE and to compare the attitude of student and mathematics teachers' towards letter grading system (LGS). For this study, the researcher selected 15 government schools with 225 students and 15 mathematics teachers through random sampling procedure from Dhading district. The questionnaire form and interview guidance were the main tools of this study. The collected data were organized, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted by using the statistical tool such as mean, standard deviation and t-test. Further, the data have been interpreted to make it qualitative or thematic and to find the mathematics teachers views towards LGS. After analysis and interpretation of the collected data, the findings indicate the students and mathematics teachers have positive attitude towards letter grading system (LGS). Also finding indicates there is significant difference between the attitude of students and mathematics teachers towards LGS and teachers have positive attitude than the students. Researcher tried to find out of the student and the teachers with different domains (Knowledge, implementation, management, output) of LGS and comparisons of attitude of student and the teacher on the basis of weighted mean.
