Abstract: This study entitled ‘Mobile Learning Practices among Eleven and Twelve Grade Students’ was carried out with the aim of exploring mobile learning practices among 11 and 12 grade students of Sunsari District and finding out their perceptions towards mobile learning. It was conducted with randomly selected 60 students studying at 11 and 12 grade in the district. They were taken from three government schools, 20 from each school. I used a mixed research design in order to accomplish the study. I used closed-ended questionnaires such as likert scale questions, yes no questions as research tools for collecting quantitative data. Similarly, I conducted interview with 6 students regarding their practices of mobile learning. This research found that all students had mobile phones and majority of them have already started to use their mobile phones. However, their mobile learning practices are unsatisfactory. Current educational policies and practices are unsupportive to use mobile phone in learning. Students have positive attitudes toward mobile learning and clearly, but they do not have clear idea for using the phones in teaching learning activities. Furthermore, they expect guidance and support from their teacher for effective mobile learning. This thesis has been divided into five chapters.
