Abstract: This thesis entitled "Practice of English Teacher to Overcome ProblemBehaviours of Students" was carried out to find out some of the basicproblemsandtheirremediesregardingbehaviour of students.The main objective of thestudy was to find outpractice of English teacher to overcome problembehavoiurs of students.I collected the data from secondary school, of Palpadistrict. The required data were collected by using questionnaire andobservation checklist. The total samples were four teachers from four schoolsand one school's four days observation of students' behaviours.This studyfocusedon identifying the reasons and solutions on problem behaviours ofstudents in English language classroom. The teachers faced the differentproblem behaviour of students like; not to do homework, using mother tongue,use slang language, side talk, indiscipline,gumchewing,tapping a pen on deske.t.c. In order to solve the problems conductive teaching learning environmentshould be established by joint effort made by students,teachers, principals andparents. This thesis consists of five chapters: The first chapter is introductory in nature.It introducesproblem behavior of studentsin general. It also includes,statement of the problem, rationale of the study, objectives of the study,research questions, significance of the study, delimitations of the studyandoperational definition of the key terms. The second chapter deals with thereview of related literature, implications of review of the study and theoreticaland conceptual framework. Similarly, the third chapter deals with the methodsand procedures ofthe study, design of the study, population and sample,sampling procedures, data collection tools, data collection procedures and dataanalysis and interpretation procedures. After that, the fourth chapter deals withresults and discussions/interpretationand the last chapter deals with summary,conclusions, implications in policy level, practice level and further researchfollowed by references and appendices.
