Abstract: The present study entitled Use of critical Pedagogy in EFL Classroom at secondary Level was conducted to explore the teachers’ perceptions on critical pedagogy in EFL classrooms and to find out use of critical pedagogy in EFL classroom. Mixed approach was followed to conduct the present study.The researcher used simple random sampling procedure and questionnaire was tool for data collection. The research design adopted in this study was survey. Sample populations were forty-four English teachers who were teaching at basic and secondary level in Lalitpur district. The researcher analyzed and interpreted data by using simple statistical tools and descriptively. The major finding of the research was that the secondary level English teachers were well aware of critical pedagogy except few of them. Some of the teachers tried very hard to implement their own techniques and most of the teachers were using mixed method approaches in their EFL classroom, if the teacher use critical pedagogy in EFL classroom. It helps to get quality achievement for the students in their learning of language. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is related with introduction and background of the study, statement of the problem,objective of the study, research questions, significance of the study, delimitations of the study and operational definitions of key terms. The second chapter consists of review all the related theoretical and empirical literatures, their implications on the study and conceptual framework of the whole study. Likewise, the third chapter deals with the methods and procedures of the study which consists design and method of the study, population, sample and sampling strategy, source of data, research tools, data collection procedures, data analysis and interpretation procedure and ethical consideration. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis of data interpretation of the result. Likewise, the final chapter deals with findings, conclusion and some pedagogical implications which are summed up from the analysis and interpretation of the collected data for the purpose of research followed by references and appendices.
