Abstract: The present research study entitled Transfer of Pre-service Teacher Training Skills in the Classroom aims at finding out the existing transfer of pre-service teacher training skills in the classroom and problems of implementing these skills in the classroom. I have selected six secondary level English teachers who have got three-year B.Ed. from Tribhuvan University and have been teaching at Bajhang district. I applied nonrandom sampling procedure to select the respondents for the study. Classroom observation and interviews were used as research tools. I have observed thirty six classes of these selected teachers and interviewed them. The main objective of this research was to find out the existing transfer of pre-service teacher training skills in the language classroom and to explore the problems of transferring training in the classroom. It was found that pre-service teacher training skills are not transferring in the language classroom due to lack of appropriate environment, teachers passiveness, large class and irresponsible school administrators.It was found that listening skill is totally ignored by most of the teachers in the language classroom. Similarly, teachers were excessively using the traditional methods and techniques in the classroom. It has shown that poor transfer of pre-service teacher training skills in the classroom. This thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter deals with background of the study, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, research questions, significance of the study, delimitations of the study and operational definitions of the key terms. The second chapter includes the review of related literature, review of theoretical literature, review of empirical literature, implications of the study and conceptual framework. The third chapter deals with the design of the study, population, sample and sampling strategy, research tools, source of data, data collection procedures, data analysis procedures and ethical considerations. The forth chapter deals with analysis and interpretation of data and results. Finally, the fifth chapter presents findings conclusion and recommendation made on the basis of analysis and interpretation of data
