Abstract: | The novel The Guru of Love,can be taken as a representation of Nepalese culture as it had posturizes the Nepalese society. The novel explores Nepalese society, culture and present situation of the country. By depicting own cultural practices, lifestyles and socio-political conditions, the author represents Nepalese culture in globalized arena. The novel includes political, economic, cultural and social problems, the country has practiced. When we analyze the novel from the cultural point of view, we see the writer and his characters largely affected by the power of culture, cast, elite class, political and the rituals that the country had been practiced knowingly or unknowingly. |
