Abstract: | The present research focuses on the debut work of Narayan Wgle, Palpasa Café. The vision of Siddhartha and Drishya stands in contrast to each other as they are guided by different principles. Drishya represents the traditional ideology of the state whereas Siddhartha represents the new ideology of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) that struggles for replacing and restructuring the old structure of the state through the violent rebellion. Because of the different conflicting principles and the bloody insurgency, the lives of common people from all sections of society are affected dangerously throughout the nation. This research aims to prove that the birth of rebellion was the outcome of bitter hatred of marginalized group towards the state rulers who imposed the cycle of age-longe xploitation and discrimination upon poor and marginalized people. The rebellion of the revolutionary character, Siddhartha, was inevitable to establish progressive peace and equal justice in Nepal as state turned deaf ear to the demand and aspiration of isolated group. Because of the violent conflict between two opposing forces, the lives of common people are affected very badly. |
