Abstract: The present research on“Criminal Confessionin Miller’sThe Crucible: A Psycho-Social Perspective”explores the confessional psyche of the character John Proctor in major and in minor of the other characters that essentially exist in each human being. The psychology of the characters in one way or another way is complicit with confessional consciousness that is also a growing desire of each and every human being that lead them notonlyto the family settlement but for psychic fulfillment due to the cause of psychosexual consciousness. This has affected all characters that appearto be boredom and leisure in the characters which lead them towards the sexual attachment by forgettingthe internal torture of life.
