This publication captures and reflects upon the partnership between ADB and its Pacific developing member countries over the past 50 years. When ADB commenced operations in December 1966, Samoa was the only Pacific member country. Today there are 14 Pacific members, and many have achieved remarkable levels of development over the past 50 years. Produced to commemorate ADB’s 50th Anniversary, the publication features some of the key partnership achievements in the Pacific region.
