dc.description.abstractMacro fungi are the high value resource of forests in the world. They are themacroscopic fruiting body which grows in getting favorable condition of moisture,temperature, humidity and soilnutrients. Ethnomycological study was conducted in tropical zone named sukhaura hariyali community forest, makrahar V.D.C. Rupandehi district of western tarai. The fruiting body of macro fungi were collected. Among the collected 23 species were identified with 9 families and 15 genera belonged to class Basidimycetes. Most species were poisonous mushrooms following edible and medicinal mushrooms.en_US
