Abstract: Education is one of the important approaches to uplift the condition of womenfrom the conservative norms ,values and patriarchal society.The main objective of thisstudy were to describe the participation of women in the domestic role and in thehousehold decision making process .This research was an attempt to find out the status ofmarried women school teacher in the domestic role and household decision making fromtheir living area .This research has assessed weather they are successful to change theirsocio-economic status in society.In addition to this study has explored to what extent ageeducation ,caste family income and decision making in various part of their professionaland personal life. For the successful achievement of the aboard objective ,several tools andtechniques have been used .The research concerns with both primary as well assecondary source of data but emphases has given to the primary source of data as it ismore reliable ,authentio and chose to reality .Further more focus group discussion withconcern people interview with respondent ,observation of school ,collect data andanalysis.The data were collected through the questionnaire ,focus group discussion,interview and case study .The study has tired to trace the role of marriedworkingwomen in the domestic role and household decision making process .The specificobjective were to identity the decision makingrole in their family .The outcomes of theresearch has improvedas more than previous years .However male are in permanent jobwhere as female are temporary job. The study show that few of the married women school teacher were holding themaster degree. Most of the male and female are found to be co-operativeto each other inevery sector of the work . Decisionmaking power among female school teacher ofSyangja district is found to be satisfactory.
